What’s been happening:

After graduating from PSU, I attended USAF Officer Training School. Before being assigned to France for 3 years as a Weather Officer, I attended Texas A&M University for Meteorology Training. Following my military service, I accepted a position in Chicago with United Airlines. I retired from United on 12/1/2005 after 38 years of service during which time I worked as a meteorologist, computer programmer/systems analyst/trainer,and customer service supervisor. My wife Cheryl (retired Special Education teacher) and I have 2 children: Kurt (PhD CE,UIUC)is employed by Dynatest Engineering; and Kerstin (BS Chemistry, UIUC) is employed by the Oakland,CA School District as a teacher.
